The Puyallup Fair

We went to the Puyallup Fair on Saturday. It was so much fun! Michael's parents joined us for a while (after the guys' last game of golf for the season!) and Trevor-the-Trooper kept up with us the whole five hours we were there. William loved the fair and requested the next day to go again!

Walking up the stairs to go down the slide for the first time...

William squealed each time he went down -- he had such a big smile on his face!
After getting off the slide, William started walking back towards it... I think he was planning on climbing up it, as he does at our neighborhood parks. (The slide guys wouldn't go for it!)

Going on the motorcycle ride (around and around... not up/down). He said it was fun but didn't want to do it again. I think his confidence was built by going on the slide; the motorcycle ride seemed a little boring for him.

After the ride was over, while Michael was on his way to get him, William managed to unbuckle the belt and get himself out. Scary.

William announced he didn't want to go on this ride!

William got his first-ever ice cream cone! He loved it! Yes, we are strict. No, we are not loosening up. It was a special day :)

Lucky William! The Puyallup Fair is my favorite place to get soft serve ice cream. I always spoil myself too when I'm there. (You just missed Matt, Tara and the kids, they were there all day Friday.)
