Last week, William, Findlay, and I got to go visit with my good friend, Darcy, from my UPS days. She was a mentor to me through college (after returning from Italy, especially--as well as the year after I graduated, when Michael and I were engaged); we'd meet each week or every other week to drink hot chocolate and/or go for walks. She continues to be a source of godly wisdom in my life, although at a greater distance -- she and her husband (Timo) are in NYC as he's finishing up medical school. Their prayer (mine too!!!!) is that he will do his residency back in the northwest.
I wish we had had another set of adult hands, to have had Darcy in this picture too!!
The little girl is Darcy's adorable daughter, Molly (born the 9th of January '08).
