A Findlay Update

Findlay is almost 11 months old!

Just as of late, his fourth, fifth, and sixth teeth have come through (he now has four on top, two on bottom).

He is finally filling out and is over 14 pounds (thanks to two daily doses of olive/coconut oil)! He weighs almost as much as he did when he was five months old.

He is learning to stay "off the stairs" and loves the praise he receives when he makes a good decision by obeying. He crawls back towards us with a big smile on his face, panting/giggling all the way.

He seems to be heading toward one nap a day. The last couple days, I have cut his morning nap short (Calvin actually helped yesterday by barking at someone outside... but he cut it too short... ) so that he will take a quality afternoon nap when William does. Otherwise, he takes a good morning nap and a short afternoon nap. I can't wait to be down to one nap a day; we will have so many more hours to do things!

He is a pretty good sport when it comes to his big brother's portrayal of love. He is a tough child!

He waves on command, signs "more," "water," (we think) and loves to give kisses. He also barks (more like screeches) when we ask him what sound a doggy makes... or when he hears or sees a dog. He and William light up when they see each other... if Findlay starts to get cranky in the car, it doesn't take much for William to make him happy. He LOVES his daddy and practically jumps to Michael from my arms when Michael walks through the door. He is a very easy-going, joyful child. It's hard to believe he is almost a year!
